2-3 years old - Short coat - Male

Burrito is a 2-3 year old Dachshund mix. He weighs 22.10lbs. He was a rescue from the shelter. He was listed as a stray. We saw his cute little tail just thump thump thumping away. He's a friendly little guy. He has a perpetual smile on his face. He definitely has one of those larger than life personalities.

Burrito is a lover boy but he also gets along well with other dogs. He lives with big and little ones and he can hold his own with either. He isn't they type of dog who ever starts problems. He will go out of his way to avoid but if he's pushed he also won't back down. He's a dog who likes to go to the dog park and meet new dogs and then wander over and introduce himself to the cute new mom who is bringing her new puppy to the dog park for the first time. He'll woo her and her puppy!

Burrito is an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If someone grew up with dogs and recently moved out or finished college, he could be an option. We just don't know that he's a first time dog owner dog yet. If there are kids in the home he is an option for those who are over the age of 7.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
