Perky Flo is a 12 week old Corgi-Dachshund mix who showed up at a foster's home after a lightning storm and refused to leave. She weighs about 11lbs and is expected to be in the 20-25lbs range when full grown. When no one claimed her a month later here we are finding her a permanent home. She has lived with dogs, cats, birds and a crazy busy house. She adjusted and fell into place there. But now she is looking for a home of her own.

Flo is great with other dogs. At first she was on the shy side. She wasn't sure about the Pitbull and the little Chihuahua who seemed to rule the house but pretty soon they were all a pack. Don't worry if she's a little shy at first. She quickly comes out of that with other dogs. Flo can go with cats or birds. At least at this age she is not trying to eat the birds!

Flo is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are kids they need to be over the age of 6.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
