Bee is a 5 year old Eskie who we rescued from the shelter. She weighs about 18 lbs. She and her friend Sophia were owned by an older lady who could no longer care for them and left them in the yard; her neighbors felt bad for the pups and called the shelter and the owner agreed to surrender them. It's been a bit of a tough transition for poor Bee. She's a nervous gal who will need a calm and patient home that is willing to work with her and give her time to settle in. She's not going to be the meeter-greeter type, but rather will hang back and take her time to get to know new people.

Bee will take her time learning to trust but she doesn't exhibit any particularly negative behaviors. In her foster home, she's been content to sit or lay on the couch near them and just chill out. She also knows how to walk on a leash and is good with a couple walks a day. Bee has a beautiful coat that will require care and grooming so we will be looking for a home that will keep her coat lustrous and shiny.

Bee is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years (owned personally not a parent's or roommates dog and not petsitting a dog). If there are children in the home, they need to be over the age of 8.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
