Australian Terrier x Border Terrier
10-12 months old - Short coat - Male

Hank is a tiny 10-12 month old Terrier mix who we rescued from the shelter. He probably weighs less than 10 lbs and is easily carried around in your arms- where he's quite happy to be. He was a volunteer favorite at the shelter and our transporter was so in love that she almost adopted him herself!

Here's what Hank's foster home has to say about him:

Hank is incredibly energetic and playful, and even earned himself the nickname “Mr. Wiggles” due to the amount of movement his bottom half does when he’s excited. He loves his humans, and does not fail to show it! He sleeps by himself on a bed throughout the night and has not had any accidents, and will go to the door when he needs to go out.

Hank is interested on every toy he has seen. His favorite type of toy is one that he can chew on and not get in trouble for chewing. Cuddling is undoubtedly one of Hank’s favorite past times, as well as being held like a baby. Hank does not pull while walking on a leash, but does a lot of investigating (rocks, trees, flowers, etc) when outside.

Hank is still very much a puppy and will need some training and discipline, but overall, he's a great little guy. He's perfect for someone who wants a cuddle-buddy who doesn't mind being carried from here to there. Hank has been around other dogs and while he might have a small adjustment period, he does get along with them. Hank is an option for a home that has had a dog in the past, even if it wasn't recently. That home would need to demonstrate that they have a training plan in place for this little guy. He is an option for children over the age of 8.
